The buzz at CU Boulder was back and electric during the first home football game of Coach Prime’s second season, where the Buffs secured a thrilling 31-26 victory against North Dakota State. The sold-out crowd helped pack Folsom Field and it was without a doubt that fans were on their feet from kickoff to the final whistle.

Sasha Luczy, a senior at CU Boulder studying psychology, described the atmosphere “like I am right at home."

For students, winning the first home game seemed to set the tone for the rest of the season. The Buffs have been known for wanting to make a statement, the student section loved every minute of it!

“The energy in the stadium was insane,” Sasha shared. “I almost forgot how it felt because it's been so long, but you can seriously feel how much everyone believes in Coach Prime and the team.”

The Buffs' win put them at 1-0, marking an important moment for both the football program and the students as a whole. This undoubtedly signaled the impactful leadership and continued progress under Deion Sanders. This victory not only boosted CU Boulder’s football hopes but also reinforced a renewed sense of pride throughout the community.
